Clawson put its City Hall two blocks north of 14 Mile, with the Blair Memorial Library at 416 North Main and the historical museum directly across the street. Everything civic within a short walk of everything else. Cities arranged that way run on evenings where more or less the whole town turns out, and a wedding in a place like this behaves the same way.
The guest list is the town
Which means the wedding party is going to be seen by people who will see them again at the hardware store on Saturday. That’s an argument for the party looking like a party rather than like eight men who each solved the problem alone.
One decision, then one order
Everyone from one rack in one cloth, on a single order; ask about group pricing for parties of five or more. Each man is still fitted to himself afterward, so agreeing on a bolt doesn’t cost anybody his own build.
The groom is the exception
He buys. In a city this size he’ll wear that suit to every wedding on the same street for the next decade, and half-canvassed at $300 to $500 is the tier that survives the decade. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, fits him first.
