A Dearborn man has a good suit in the closet that hasn’t fit right since the last wedding, and Greenfield Road runs straight north from his door to the showroom. Whether the suit comes back is a short question with two answers, and the honest one depends on a single seam.
What Roman brings back
Nearly everything below the shoulders. The middle of a jacket comes in or goes out. A sleeve can be reset, a seat and a waist moved, a trouser recut for whatever shoes replaced the old ones. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, does all of it on a suit from anywhere. Bring the shoes.
What he can’t
The shoulder. If it sits past the bone now, no tailor moves it, and the jacket is done. The trousers may be fine, and since select suits on our floor sell as separates, a jacket can be replaced on its own.
How long it takes
Small jobs he can often do while you wait. For bigger work, he quotes the job and confirms the completion date before he starts, and a few weeks a year get busy enough to push that date out. Take it in as soon as your own date is on the calendar; the whole point of hearing his date up front is knowing it clears yours.
