From downtown Farmington, I-696 east runs toward our exit with nothing complicated in between. That makes what follows practical rather than aspirational, because a fitting genuinely has two halves and you can’t do the second one without coming back.
The first half
The suit is chosen and pinned. A man stands still, a consultant marks what needs to move, and Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, is told what to do. Everything here is done on a stationary body.
The second half
The finished suit goes back on and the man moves in it: sits, reaches across a table, puts his hands in his pockets, walks to a mirror and back. A surprising number of small faults only appear in motion, and they are exactly the faults other people notice, because other people mostly see us moving.
What the second visit costs
Very little, on this drive. Small jobs Roman can often do while you wait, and for bigger work, he quotes the job and confirms the completion date before he starts, so you know which day the second trip down Grand River falls on.
