From Highland Park the way to us is the Davison west to the Lodge, north to Eight Mile, then across to Greenfield Road. Three roads, none of them long. That’s close enough that the second visit, which is the one most men skip, costs almost nothing.
Why there’s a second visit at all
Because a suit is assessed twice. The first time it’s pinned on a body standing still. The second time it’s finished and worn, and the man moves in it, which is when anything still wrong becomes obvious.
What the second look catches
Sleeves that are fractionally long once an arm actually reaches for something. A jacket that could be closer through the sides. Nothing dramatic, and collectively it’s the difference between a decent suit and one people assume was made for you.
What it takes
Ten minutes and a drive you’ve already made once. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, can often handle a small correction while you wait, and he quotes anything larger before he starts.
