From Huntington Woods our showroom is along the I-696 service drive. That’s close enough that most men here treat buying a suit as an errand, and an errand is exactly the wrong frame for it, because the part that decides whether the suit looks good is the part an errand skips.
What a rushed visit skips
Being measured rather than estimated. Trying a second jacket after the first one nearly fits. Sitting down in the trousers. Each of those takes a few minutes and each of them is the difference between a suit that fits and a suit that is your size, which are not the same thing.
Spend the saved driving time here
Come once to buy and be fitted, and again to collect and be checked in it. On that second visit put the finished suit on and move around in it, because a quarter inch that only shows when an arm reaches forward is invisible on a first fitting and obvious across a dinner table.
What each visit can hold
Ask Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, which category yours falls into. The smallest work he can frequently finish before you leave. For the larger sort, he quotes the job and confirms the completion date before he starts. When the drive is this short, whatever date he gives is no inconvenience.
