Madison Heights sits on the I-75 and I-696 interchange, which means the Greenfield exit is the next stretch west and a fitting can genuinely happen inside a lunch hour. That’s a real advantage over most of our map, and it’s worth knowing how to use it, because an hour spent well and an hour spent badly produce very different suits.
What fits inside an hour
Being measured, trying three suits in the size that measurement produces, choosing one, and having it pinned. That’s the whole first visit and it’s comfortably done in the time available, provided the shoes are in the car.
What doesn’t
Deciding what the suit is for while standing on the floor. Work that out on the drive: the occasion, whether it’s a suit for one day or two hundred, and roughly what you want to spend. A consultant who is told those three things can do the rest quickly.
The second hour
Come back for it. The finished suit goes on, you move in it, and anything still wrong gets found. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, can often do small jobs while you wait, so the second visit is frequently shorter than the first.
