Sixteen men in matching navy, photographed together. Twelve friends, a best man, both fathers, and you. From the back of 1,200 plated seats at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace, people should still be able to tell which one you are. One color makes them look like one party. Something else has to make you the one getting married.
The groom
You are the one man in the room who should be unmistakable from the back row. That means one thing nobody else has: a different tie, a vest, a slightly darker cloth. Not a different suit. A different suit makes you look like you wandered in from another wedding.
The best man and the fathers
Your best man gets a smaller version of whatever marks you out. The same tie in a different shade, say. Both fathers wear the party color, in a cut made for their own shapes, off the rack in their own sizes. They are built differently than the twelve, and they should look it.
The twelve
Identical. Same rack, same cloth, same tie. One order covers all twelve groomsmen, and twelve clears the bar easily, so ask about group pricing for parties of five or more. The ones who live out of state send their numbers ahead and get fitted the week they land. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, pins them in the order they will stand: you first.
