Pleasant Ridge covers roughly 0.57 square miles, which is small enough that residents drive out of it for nearly everything and long ago stopped thinking of that as a hardship. Our floor is west along I-696 from the Woodward corridor. The useful question isn’t the distance. It is what a trip of that length ought to be worth.
What justifies it
Two things a screen can’t do. The first is depth: your size present on the rack in several cloths and three tiers, so a decision gets made by trying rather than guessing. The second is a tailor in the same building as the rack, which is rarer than it sounds and changes what is possible.
Why the tailor being there matters
Because the alterations get decided while the suit is on you and the person doing them is standing there. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, can often do small jobs while you wait, and for bigger work he quotes the job and confirms the completion date before he starts.
The practical version
Bring the shoes you intend to wear, and the shirt if you own it. Those two objects turn a trip into a finished suit rather than an appointment to make another one.
