Lee M. Thurston High School at 26255 Schoolcraft was built in the mid-1950s, which means something close to seventy graduating classes have now come out of it. Every June a portion of them need a suit, and most families approach the purchase as a single decision when it’s actually two.
The first decision is the tier
And it depends on exactly one thing: whether he has stopped growing. Still changing shape means an Everyday Classic at $139 to $159 and no apology. Finished, and heading into work or study that expects a suit regularly, means Signature Wool at $259 to $299.
The second is the fit
And it doesn’t depend on the first at all. A suit at any tier is either fitted or it isn’t, and the difference is visible from across a room in a way the tier never is.
Families reverse these
They deliberate over the price and accept whatever fit the rack provides. Doing it the other way round produces a better result at any budget, and Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, is the half that gets skipped.
