From Main Street the route runs M-59 to I-75 south and then I-696 west. It’s among the longer trips on our map, which means it rewards a little planning and punishes none at all. The aim is to get a finished suit out of as few journeys as the work allows.
Bring the objects, not the intentions
The shoes you will actually wear, in the car, not a description of them. The shirt, if it’s already bought. A suit is fitted to physical things, and a length set to a remembered heel is a length that gets reset.
Know how the timing works before you come
Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, handles basic alterations, often while you wait. For bigger work, he quotes the job and confirms the completion date before he starts. If your date is close, say so at the start rather than at the counter, because it changes what he takes on.
Then one trip can be enough
Plenty of suits need only a length adjusted, and those can often be done in the same trip. The ones that need more are worth a second journey, and knowing which yours is takes about a minute once the suit is on you.
