A wedding at the Westin in the Town Center brings in a party from everywhere. Half the groomsmen are on a flight into Detroit Metro, they check in on Thursday, and the ceremony is Saturday. What they have is one afternoon in between, and what they don’t have is time for two of anything.
One afternoon, one order
Bring the party in together. We fit every man on the floor in one coordinated fitting, rentals or purchases, and put the whole party on one order. Ask about group pricing for parties of five or more. The groom sees all of them side by side, which is the only way to know that seven blacks are the same black.
What to send ahead
If a groomsman can’t make the afternoon, he can be measured where he lives and we will pull for him, but he still gets pinned here; a measurement sent by phone is a starting point and a fitting is the finish. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, is on site in our store and can pin sleeves and hems while the rest of the party is still on the floor. Basic alterations are often available the same day, depending on the garment and current workload.
From the Westin it is east on I-696 to the Greenfield exit, then just south.
