The spaces at Andiamo run from the Wine Room at one end to the Palermo Ballroom at the other. Two couples can book the same venue in the same month and be planning completely different evenings, and the advice one of them needs is close to useless for the other.
The small-room wedding
Everyone is close, the whole night. Detail is legible: the weave of the cloth, the finish of a buttonhole, whether the shirt collar fits the neck. This is where the more expensive tiers are genuinely visible and where a rented anything is hardest to disguise.
The ballroom wedding
Most guests never get within conversational distance. Detail vanishes and outline dominates, so the money is better spent on fit and on going dark enough to hold a shape at a distance.
Tell the consultant which one
“Andiamo” isn’t enough information; “the Wine Room, about forty people” is. It’s the difference between being sold construction you’ll see and construction you won’t, and nobody on our floor is on commission, so that conversation can be had straight.
