Union Lake is the corner of Commerce where the township touches West Bloomfield, Waterford and White Lake, and a groom from there usually has a wedding party from all four. Four towns means four ideas of what navy is, and in the photograph at the water those four navies stand next to each other and disagree.
One navy
The fix is a rack, because a rack has only one of each cloth. The party comes in together, the consultant pulls the navy and holds it against the first man, then the second, and the four ideas become one bolt of cloth that everybody is wearing. Each man is still fitted on his own afterward, so agreeing on the bolt costs nobody his own shape.
The man from White Lake who can’t come
He sends measurements and is fitted the week of the wedding. The cloth was decided without him, which is the point; the only thing that was ever his to decide was his hem, and Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, sets that to the shoes he brings.
Rent or buy, by man
The groomsmen can rent from the same cloth, on one order, and the groom should ask about group pricing for parties of five or more. The groom buys, because he’ll wear it to every wedding in that circle for years, and half-canvassed at $300 to $500 is built for that.
