Warren Valley was designed in 1922 by Donald Ross, among his first courses in Michigan. Its first nine holes opened to the public on June 30, 1923, the second nine two days after that, and the East course followed on April 11, 1925 to make thirty-six holes. Nobody waited for the whole thing to be finished before letting people play.

Navy, plain, the most useful thing in menswear. It handles interviews, weddings, funerals and anything else that arrives unexpectedly, which is most of what a suit is actually for.
And what the second one is
Charcoal, usually, and only once the navy has been worn enough to reveal what the first one couldn’t do. Buying both at once is buying the second one blind, which is how men end up owning suits they never wear.
