Dearborn Heights contains three high schools belonging to three separate districts: Annapolis, established in 1967 and the only high school in District 7; Crestwood, established in 1965; and Robichaud on Janet Street, in the Westwood district. Children living within a few streets of each other can end up at three different schools, which isn’t a situation many cities have.
Three of everything
Three graduations, three prom seasons, three sets of dates, in one city. A family with children spread across districts, which happens here, can be attending events at more than one school in a single spring.
Which matters mostly for timing
The alterations queue is the constraint, not the stock. If a household has two boys at two schools with two dates, say both dates at the first fitting rather than treating them as separate errands weeks apart.
What it changes
What Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, takes on and in what order. He quotes each job before he starts, and knowing there are two deadlines rather than one is the sort of information that only helps if it is offered early.
