Madison Heights is one city with two school districts inside it. Lamphere High School has around 750 students across four grades; Madison High School had about 244. That’s an unusual arrangement and it produces two graduation ceremonies with genuinely different atmospheres, which changes what a family should think about when they buy the suit.
The small class
In a school of a couple of hundred, everybody knows everybody, and the ceremony feels like a family occasion rather than a procession. A boy is going to be looked at individually, by name, by people who have known him since he was small. That’s an argument for getting the fit right rather than for spending more.
The larger one
More students means more of a procession and less individual attention on the day, but the same summer of weddings and interviews afterward, where the suit does its actual work.
