When you rent a tuxedo from us, a consultant fits it on you, in the store. That’s the whole difference between us and a box in the mail, and it’s worth the drive down I-696 from Royal Oak.
What happens on the day
A consultant measures you and pulls the jacket and trouser. You put them on. Roman at Lincoln Tailor, inside the store, pins anything that needs it, and basic alterations are often available the same day. Then the tuxedo waits on the rack under your name until you pick it up.
Bring the shoes and the shirt
Bring the shoes you will wear, because the hem is cut to them. Bring the shirt if you already own one, because the sleeve is set against the cuff. If you’re part of a wedding party, come with the party if you can. The whole party goes on one order and one sheet; ask about group pricing for parties of five or more.
Rent or own
We carry tuxedos to buy as well, and our stylists will tell you which makes sense. A man with three black-tie weddings ahead of him is usually better off owning one.
We are open Sunday afternoons and until 8 on Thursdays. Closed Saturdays.
