Why residents of Royal Oak choose us

What you’ll find off the Greenfield exit

Bring the whole party in for one fitting, whether it’s suits or tuxedos. Roman, the master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, works in the same building.

What our reviews come back to most is the people. Grooms who went custom name Ben, who makes our custom suits, for being organized and patient from the first fitting to the last. Others name the consultants who put a whole look together with them. And big and tall customers come for the hard-to-find sizes we keep on the rack.

Every size from 34 short to 70 long is on the rack, portly included, and select suits sell as separates.

Lincoln Tailor is Roman’s own shop inside the store. He sets his own prices and quotes the work before he starts.

Coming in from Royal Oak

Take I-696 west from Main Street or Woodward, get off at Greenfield Road, and we’re just south of the exit at 26150 Greenfield Rd in Oak Park. There’s plenty of parking out front, and the map on this page opens the route in Google Maps.

Yes. The whole party can get fitted together, for suits or tuxedos, and the alterations happen in the same building. Ask about group pricing for parties of five or more.

No. Walk in any time we’re open and someone will help you. If you’d rather have a set time with a stylist blocked out for you, you can book a fitting. It’s free, takes about 45 minutes, and there’s no obligation to buy.

Men’s suits from 34 short to 70 long, including portly sizes, and boys’ suits in sizes 4 to 20. We also sell select men’s suits as separates, so you can pair a jacket and trousers in different sizes instead of being forced into one that only half fits. We don’t stock a labeled “athletic cut,” but that usually just means a drop 8, a bigger gap between jacket chest and trouser waist, and separates get you there. If you’ve been told you’re hard to fit, this is the part of our store we’re proudest of.

Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, has his shop inside our store, so you can be measured, chalked and pinned the same day you buy instead of hunting for a tailor afterward. Basic alterations can often be done while you wait. For bigger work, he looks at the garment, quotes the job, and tells you when it’ll be ready before he starts. He sets his own prices.

Return it within 30 days for a full refund, any reason, no explanation needed. After that we’ll exchange non-seasonal items up to 90 days. The one exception is alterations: once a suit has been altered or the tags are off, we can’t take it back, so take it home unaltered first and come back to Roman once you’re sure.

Tuxedo rentals can’t be returned once they’ve been worn. Custom orders can’t be refunded either, but we’ll keep altering until it’s right and remake it if the fit isn’t there.
