Southgate Anderson High School is named for Thomas J. Anderson, who was the city’s first mayor. Its graduates go through the same June every other school’s do, and their families make the same decision, generally in the same week, generally under the same slight time pressure.
The decision has two parts and they get merged
The first is how much to spend. The second is whether the suit fits. Families deliberate at length over the first and accept whatever the second turns out to be, which is precisely backwards.
Why fit is the part that shows
Because at conversational distance nobody can identify the price of a suit and everybody can see whether it belongs to the person wearing it. In most rooms, a well-fitted inexpensive suit reads better than an expensive one that was never altered.
So decide the tier quickly and the fit slowly
If his shape is still moving, that is an Everyday Classic at $139 to $159 and nothing more is needed. If it has settled, Signature Wool at $259 to $299. Either takes about a minute to decide. Spend the rest of the visit being measured, trying more than one jacket, and letting Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, finish it.
