Andiamo began more than three decades ago as an Italian restaurant in downtown Warren and grew into a banquet center taking up to 650 guests across rooms that range from the Wine Room to the Palermo Ballroom. That history matters for what to wear, because a venue that grew out of a restaurant carries a different atmosphere from one built as a hall.
What the difference feels like
Hospitality rather than ceremony. People eat properly, sit longer, and the evening has the rhythm of a very large dinner rather than an event with catering attached.
Which changes the suit’s job
It spends more of the night seated and buttoned at a table than standing in a receiving line, so the fit that matters most is the seated one: a rise that stays at the waist through several courses, and a jacket that doesn’t strain when you lean forward to hear someone.
Ask to be fitted sitting
Almost nobody does, and for a venue like this it’s the more useful position. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, adjusts from there, and the party goes on one order; ask about group pricing for parties of five or more.
