West Bloomfield High School is on Orchard Lake Road, and its seniors have the same spring every year: prom, then graduation, then a summer of other people’s weddings. Families come to our counter thinking about one night. The better question is the whole season.
If the table is going in tuxedos
Then he rents. Fitted in person on our floor, sized to him, and it goes back after prom.
If it isn’t
Then a suit he owns does prom, graduation and the June weddings, and on this side of the county the June weddings are at the water. Navy: it reads well against a lake, and black cooks on a terrace in July. An Everyday Classic, $139 to $159, is built for a season he’ll outgrow before he wears it out. If the family wants one that lasts past college, Signature Wool, $259 to $299, is the step up.
Three weeks out, with the shoes
Come in three weeks before the date, with the shoes he’ll wear and the shirt if he has it; the hem is cut to one and the sleeve to the other. Roman, master tailor at Lincoln Tailor, on site in our store, does the rest.
